Last week Nicky decided on her own to do something thoughtful for Andy. When it came time to choose her treasure on Friday, she chose the same duck and brought it home for Andy. She was so excited to give it to him and see his smile. The next day they were both playing with their ducks in the bath. It makes me so happy to see the kids be kind and thoughtful to each other. She thought of this gift on her own and it made my day. She reminded me that it took her a whole week to earn the little duck.

They are so sweet....
That is adorable! I love it when it carries on beyond their young years. We had an experience like that when my boys were teenagers. Ben had really wanted a very nice and expensive paintball gun. Brandon was working part-time and with his own money spent about $100 on a paintball gun for Ben at Christmas. Ben was blown away and we all had tears in our eyes.
How sweet! Seriously, I don't think my kids would do it. They're always wrestling their dumb toys out of Jane's hands.
