Nicky's school held a "Sweetheart Ball." The girls invited their dads, grandpas, or other male adult friends to go to this dance/party for Valentines Day. Nicky glowed the night she went out the door with her dad and with the dance ticket decorated in hearts in her hand. She insisted that they stay the entire time.
Jeff also took time off work to accompany Nicky on her ice skating field trip. I was surprised myself to learn that over 80
Kindergartners were going ice skating for a field trip. We have a few brave teachers this way. Nicky was nervous to ride the bus alone but excited to find Daddy waiting for her with their lunch when she got to the skating rink. Jeff said Nicky did well and only used the
stabilizing buckets for a short time before she was sailing around the rink on her own. Jeff on the other hand fell on the ice trying to pose for a picture :). Can't wait until Nicky's teacher posts the pictures on the Kindergarten website.

Very fun! What a nice daddy. Looks like she had the time of her life.
