Todd and Family Hit it Right

When my sister-in-law Amber told me their family was coming down to to S. California for Spring Break, I hoped the weather would turn out nice for them. April is such an iffy month. It has been 60ish and rainy and cold off and on for the last few months. However, just as they blew in to town, the weather changed to 80s and 90s. Perfect visiting weather! After they hit Disneyland and some Orange County beaches, they came down to see us.

Here are some pictures at the pool. Nicky and Allyson hit it off right away. When everyone was complaining about Nicky watching her Barney movie, Ally said, "Don't worry Nicky, I like Barney too."

Andy loves to taunt me. His favorite thing to do is bend and dip his little foot in the deep end until I come hurrying over to grab him.

Since it is right around that time where my brother Todd has his birthday, we thought it would be a good idea to make this professional looking lemon cake. Before they came to our house, Nicky was so excited to have another birthday party but then I heard her ask Jeff, "Daddy, do you know Todd?"

Here are the girls watching movies on the big air mattress. Hanging out with my nieces makes me want to have at least three other girls. They are sooo dang cute. Although I don't envy Amber having to complete three heads of hair plus her own every morning.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of Jordan, their 13 year old. He didn't show up until yesterday when I didn't have my camera because Jeff always takes it away to claims. I got to go pick him up at a friend's in Carlsbad and he entertained me with stories of 7th grade at Lehi Junior High. Things have only changed slightly it seems since I was there. When everyone left, Nicky was talking about her cousins and said, "Jordan is the big one like you and Daddy and I'm not scared of him anymore." (I guess Jordan looks like an adult to her now). When everyone left yesterday, we felt really sad to see fun family leave. We love you Pecks. Glad the weather was nice for you.
