Cold, Cold Mount Laguna Camping

This last Friday night we headed to the mountains for some real (not dessert) mountain camping. We went with our friends the Bunkers and Lambs. Though the scenery was lovely, the air was frigid. We spent most of the evening and all of the night wishing we'd brought more coats, blankets, etc. as the temperature dipped into the 30s. Though it was cold we got some fun pictures and had a great time with friends. It all makes up for the sleepless night and insane amount of laundry.

Nicky and Kedrick navigating a downed log.

By the fire. This was the favorite spot.

Andy is a fire bug. What a surprise! He kept getting in trouble and having to take trips to the car because he wouldn't stop throwing stuff in. Considering his dad likes to blow fire from his mouth using corn starch we couldn't expect any different.
Heaven is unlimited access to a bag of Cheetos.

Trying to warm up in the back of the Bunker's Pilot.

An unexpected kiss. Andy's best friend is Brock. Don't you dig the butterfly sweatshirt Andy is sporting? I said it was cold and Nicky had most of the sweatshirts.

Mr. Cutey.

Looks like fun! We have not yet taken our kids camping. Luke keeps begging so we'll have to give in one of these days. When do you move?
